The following letter was written in support of the first email from the International Students to the President.

Dear Colleagues,

There is really nothing more I can add except to say, “Amen!” as we find ourselves at a  crossroads of justice and inclusion for our international students.  I just want to share a personal testimony: I credit my success as an international seminary student to a strong program of inclusion and care at my host institution, without which I would have failed within the first few months.  Having recently come back from an illuminating sojourn in South Korea (during which we met with Korean students interested in CTS), and as I am now teaching a wonderful seminar consisting of 90% non-white students, I am committed to a strong and generous international program at CTS.  Otherwise, we as a school will fail the world we are called to serve.

In hope and resolve,

Bill
